Magnificence

I had the good fortune to participate in the SF Agile 2012 conference the first week in June. What a diverse group of highly experienced, creative, thoughtful and kind people from many areas of software development, lean startup and beyond! The keynotes were awesome, be sure to watch the videos of both Jim McCarthy’s and Joshua Kerievsky‘s keynotes. Jim inspired us to go not for goodness or greatness, but for magnificence. My feelings about this are reflected well in Olaf Lewitz’s Magnificence Mantra. Lisa Winter captured the importance of people and relationships in her post-SFAgile blog post.

I’ll think about what I can add to all that magnificence here. If you work on a team that’s going for magnificence, I’d love to hear about it.
